Commercial Locksmith Questions
Answers to questions we frequently receive from business clients.
How long does it take to rekey an entire office?
A typical 10-door office suite takes 1-2 hours. Larger facilities are scheduled for minimal disruption, often after hours or on weekends.
Can you match my existing high-security keyway?
If you have a restricted keyway (Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, etc.), we'll need authorization from your key control system. We can verify your existing system and obtain credentials.
What's the difference between rekeying and replacing locks?
Rekeying changes the internal pins so old keys no longer work - faster and more cost-effective. Replacement is needed if hardware is damaged or you want to upgrade security grade.
Do you service electronic access control systems?
We install and service standalone electronic locks and can integrate with many access control platforms. For networked enterprise systems, we partner with specialized integrators.
